TPO INTEGATED 42

There has been some debate  among business companies whether there are solutions to prevent birds from getting injured by glass or not. The lecture says that there are no solutions to stop birds from getting injured. However, the reading claims that there are three possible solutions to prevent the birds from injuries.

The first point of dispute is if the one-way glass will prevent the birds from any injures. The lecturer says that the one -way glass reflects as mirrors and birds don't understand mirrors. when they see the reflection of the sky or the trees in the glasses.  They think that it is true and they fly through the glasses. However, the reading refutes this point by saying that one way glass will protect the birds because they are transparent from only one direction, so birds will think they are a solid barriers.

Another controversial issue is if  the colorful designs of the glass will protect birds from injuries. The lecture contents that the birds will not understand the small openings  in the strips designs and they will think they are small holes and fly through them. Also, if the holes will be extremely small, the openings from the designs of  the room will be too dark. But, the author of the reading opposes this point saying that the designs with small openings will prevent the birds from getting injured. Also the openings allow the light to pass on to the rooms .

The final point of dispute is if the magnetic field will prevent the birds from getting injured.
The lecture asserts that birds only use magnetic field while they are migrating for a long distance. However, for short distances birds use their eyes and the bright light to navigate. Yet, the passage disagrees. It claims that the magnetic field on the building will prevents birds from getting injured while they are flying and help them to navigate in the right directions.
