The article and lecture are both about migrating humpback whales. The professor says that these creatures have a fascinating migrate method but the evidence in the reading is not convenient for the following reasons.
First of all, the issue of intelligent humpback whales. The teacher mentions that there is no relation between the high-level ability of animals and migration because many birds are navigating like ducks. Also, he says that ducks do not have a high-level brain to help them to migrate. As a result, there is no connection between intelligence and animals traveling. On the other ways, the reading asserts that these whales have a high-level brain to migrate.
Secondly, the trouble of migrating whales in a straight line. The professor mentions that the whale's brains are sensitive to the magnetic field. this brain ability helps them to migrate in one direction. In other words, these animals orient by a magnetic field, not by start like other animals. However, the reading asserts that whales depend on start on migration.
Finally, the problem of unusual behavior, spy hopping. The lecturer says that it is true, these whales are able to look to the sky but they do not use this behavior to navigate. He says that the sharks also have this character But they use it to hunt prey
