The author is of the opinion that going to the Mars is not a reasoning target for the human because of some unsolved issues and provides three reasons to it. On the other hand, the professor states that these reasons are unconvincing by refuting each reasons.
First, the reading claims that affording supplements such as food, water, and oxygen is a problem for Mars mission. However the Speaker says that by applying hydroponic technique in agriculture they can provides food, oxygen and water for astronomers. The mentioned method means growing vegetables in the water instead of soil. By this way, it will be possible to transfer easily plants by spacecraft. One of the benefits of hydroponic planetary in addition to supply food is recycling waste water to healthy water and provide fresh water for astronomers. Another advantage is that herbals can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen instead of that. Finally the hydroponic agriculture provides food, water and oxygen for astronomers.
Second, the author states that being exposed to zero-gravity is a serious problem for astronomers in space travel. Conversely, the lecturer contends that they can utilize several methods to control issues of zero-gravity such as bone diversity decrease. Then she provides some evidences of developments in technologies in health monitoring in astronomers. Finally she states that these developments explains this issue is not important to considering.
Third, the article mentions that the radiation released by the sun is absolutely perish and will harm the astronomers. On the contrary, the professor asserts that actually scientists assert that the sun radiation is not at dangerous level all the time. She asserts that the specialists invent some equipment to control the direction and the time of hazardous radiations. If a side of spacecraft is on the deadly radiation, the equipment can detect this danger and alarm so the astronomers move to the other side of vessel and rescue.
