The article states about Torreya taxifoha, an original tree in Florida, has some problems to be survived and started to die out and so it provides three techniques to solve the problem. However, the professor in the lecture casts serious doubt on the passage by using a number of points that are contrary to each of the author's reasons.

First of all, the reading claims that it is better to reestablish Torreya tree in the same location in Florida which it has growth there for thousands of years. In contrast, the professor refutes this point by saying that it is not a satisfactory option because it cannot be successful. He mentions that there are various climates in Florida and Torreya cannot tolerate drier one like Florida wetlands. In fact, micro organisms of Torreya cannot survive.

On another hand, the article posits that it is better to move Torreya to other locations and situations. However, the teacher describes that there is no good record to do actions like this. According to the teacher, we have seen a fail trying towards Black tree that brought bane for other plants. So it can endanger other plants to extinct.

Finally, the reading makes it clear that some scientists have tried to preserve Torreya in research centers. On the other hand, the lecturer opposes this point by explaining that it is not a beneficial solution. We also learn that Torreya can infect genetic diseases and besides, we cannot provide enough capacity to grow and maintain for long term.
