Overall, the sales of gold in Dubai showed a declined trend towards to the mid-year, after it fluctuated widely till the end of the projected period. The highest sale was in March of 350 whereas there were two lowest points with the same amount of sales in July and September. In the beginning of the year, the sale of gold in Dubai increased slightly by approximately 25 million of Dirhams. The greatest rise was from February to March when it rose by more than 125 for two consecutive months from February to March. Between March and April, there was a considerable fall in the sale of Dubai’s gold. This figure was at 250 by April. The sale of gold continued to decrease steadily over the next 3 months until it reached its lowest point in July (of around 125).
It went up and down widely over the next two months. After July, there was a slight increase in sale of gold to reach at just above 200 then this figure dropped to the point around 125, where the lowest point back in July.
The period between September and October saw an increase in the sales of golds. During the next two months, the sales of gold remained fairly unchanged (below 200). In December, the number of sales of gold reached the lower point than the sales made in the beginning of the year.
