I firmly agree with the statement for two reasons. First, learning a new language improves the mind ability. I have recently read an article that declares that children who speak more than one language are very smart and do better in math and science in comparison to ones who speak only their vernacular language. Secondly, bilingual people encounter better job opportunities. For example, my friend can speak three languages and this helped her to find a well-paid job in an international corporation. Therefore, that is better to teach children a secondary language.
