The man’s problem is that he has to drive the members of a club to an exhibition in the museum by his mother’s van but the van has got broken down and will not be repaired on time. There are two solutions discussed by the students. He can either rent another van or postpone the program. If I were the man, I would choose the second solution. The first solution does not seem to be proper because only four of the members of the club have got back to him that will contribute to the cost and the man has to pay the most of the bill by himself and it is a little risky to get his money back. However, the second solution is far better because although the other members may show up ready and get disappointed by facing with cancelled program, he can fix the car and take the club members to the exhibition with lower costs later.
