I firmly agree with the statement that we should learn from the past for some reasons. First off, experience is a good teacher for everybody. For example, an entrepreneur does his work based on his experiences to succeed because he is doing s.th new that it is not explained in any other learning sources, such as books. Secondly, everybody makes mistakes and we can avoid problems by remembering our faults and not repeating them. For instance, I cheated on the exam and did not learn the subject. Next year, I needed the same subject to learn new lessons and encountered a problem. Now, I know that cheating is harmful for myself.
