According to the given chart in 1985, the quantity of Japanese people traveling abroad was not high and was eqaual to 5 million. From that time on, the number of tourists travelling to foreign countries increased consistently untill 1990 and reached to 11 million. In 1991 the quantity of the mentioned tourists went a little down to approximately 10 million. After that, this amount commensed to go remarkably up and became 16 million in 1995.

Taking into account the graph, it can be said that the percentage of Japanese tourists visiting Australia increased by 3% between 1985 and 1988, and the same change was observed during the time span from 1989 to 1993.
