The line graph presents the information about changes in the patterns of domestic access to modern technology from 1996 to 2003. Overall, as it can be clearly seen, there are 2 upward trends apparent.
It is obvious from the figures that the most popular device in a given period of time was CD player. It rose steadily from 60% in 1996 reaching the peak of more than 80 percent in 2003.
In sharp contrast to this, the usage of the Internet showed modest percentages, which may be referred to the invention of th World Wide Net. In 1998 it hit the lowest point at less than a quarter, followed by a steady increase at 42%.
Remained two figures had strikingly similar percentages alongside with marginal fluctuations. This is mosly seen when a mobile phone overtook a home computer in 1998, which was considered to be leading.
In coclusion, the degree of popularity is closely connected with the rise of technology during 1996 and 2003. This ends my report.
