What is an idea? Idea is a thought or a suggestion that tells one's mental ability. It can be any suggestion from discovery of new gadget or provide new ways to reduce use of electricity. It is an approach of creating something new and innovative.But be defending the idea against the raise doubts and contrasting viewpoint and making or converting them to have the similar view point makes one understand the value of that idea.I personally agree with the statement that the one can only only understand the importance and value of his idea when being forced to defend an idea against the doubts and contrasting views of the others.
A person learns throughout his life and his most of the conversation lies primarily what he has learned throughout his life. A conversation always took place between two or more person where one exchange his ideas. Ideas are being exchanged means that is a possibility some people will agree and some will disagree. It is also normal that doubts will occurs. Doubts are there to check the feasibility of a idea, whether the idea is possible or not.
For instance,company want to launch it new product, in that case person for technical department with research and development team were asked questions by the marketing department, regarding the USP of the products, what makes this products different form other, what features does this products has that the competitor doesn't have. Only after satisfying doubts raised by the marketing department against that idea will tell the worthiness of idea.
In politics the actual importance of an ideas can be determined. For instance, if a politician come up with the idea of creating hospital, presents the idea in the house. Various form of doubts will rose regarding the space allotment of hospital, why is necessary. By defending and making other understand the importance of the idea one can understand the value of the idea.
Therefore, it can be concluded that the value of an idea can be discovered only other also share similar view and this value is also discovered by defending the idea from one's doubts and contrasting viewpoint of others.
