The bar chart below shows the percentage of unemployed graduates, aged 20-24, in one European country over a two-year period.
The bar chart provides information about the proportions of jobless males and females who was from 20 to 24 years old in a country located in Europe in 2008 and 2009. It is also worth noting that while the percentages of those gradutes fluctuated considerably in that period, the proportions of unemployed men was higher than those of women in this 2 years.
To specify, Octorber 2009 witnessed the highest percentage of both genders with that figure for males being over 20% and that of women being approxiamately 14%. Furthermore, the proportions of unemployed women was lower significantly than those of men in October 2008, January 2009 and April 2009. Additionally, there was the smallest percentage of both men and women in April 2008 and July 2008 at 8% and 6% respectively. The similar trend was seen in January 2008 with the percentage of jobless males being higher than that of females by 2%. Suprisingly, July 2009 is the only month when the proportions of two sexes was similar.
