Humans having evolved in mental abilities than the past more than physical ones, have actually created imbalance in them and in some ways life has become harder and challenging than the past. Do you agree or disagree with the statement?
Change is part of life. Life now a days is not the same as was in the past. In the past life was simpler and easier to live in so many ways. Although a shift from past to present has generally been accepted as achieving a smarter and comfortable way of life yet the truth is quite the otherwise.
Firstly, the environment was cleaner compared to today. The world has not industrialised and so it was pollution free. Such conditions tended to support and create healthy living conditions for people. Also machines being absent, almost every job was manual and this was a kind of physical exercise, enabling people to stay fit by regular mobility and flexibility in limbs. It can well be ascertained that physically fit enjoy life.
At present life is harder to lead. Introduction of machines has displaced humans from jobs leading to wide spread unemployment. Most of the jobs require considerable mental efforts which create stress on mind.Even games like video games fail to remove stress to bring relief to people. It has been noted that people while using calculators to make out calculations are never sure to be right owing to pre-occupation with worries of all sorts. They resort to manual ways on paper to be sure in the matter. Owing to so much occupation with machines stress is causing mental dissorders in people the world over.
Taking into account all the developments from the past to present, it can be fairly concluded that freedom from many types of physical efforts considered tiring and cumbersome has actually led to rigidity and loss of mobility in huamans naturally required to keep the body and mind in balnace for fitness.
