The graph below illustrates the information of various levels of post-school qualifications in Australia and the proportion of males and females who held them in 1999.

According to the chart it is clearly visible that there are great differencies between the percentages of both men's and women's post-school qualifications.For instance, women were more successful in getting skilled vocational diploma in 1999, however they could not keep this advantage in getting undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree.

Subsequently, women surpassed men on the higher levels of education, to say exactly, 70% of people getting postgraduate diploma were females, and only 30% were males. Furthermore, we can observe the similar pattern on the people who gained master's degree, to be more precise, the proportion was disbalanced - 60 % females and 40 % males.

To summarize, the major conclusion drawn from this graph is that although sometimes men got more success in some levels of education, it cannot be claimed that women's share was insufficient for that period.
