At a first glance, considering Australia. In 1980, out of 100 total units, the highest unit of electricity was produced by coal, that is 50 units while, least production was done by Oil that is 10 units. Followed by Hydro Power and Natural Gas, which contributed equally that is 20 units. In 2000, out of 170 units, 130 units of electricity was generated by Coal while, Oil and Natural Gas generated least of all that is 2 units.
Furthermore, by looking at France's production. In 1980, there was an equal contribution of Coal and Natural Gas to produce electricity that is 25 units. Also, there was less units of electricity obtained by Hydro Power which is 15 units. In 2000, out of 180 units, Nuclear Power produced 126 units, which is the highest from among all the fuels. Followed by, Natural Gas and Hydro Power with generating only 2 units, which is least. Moreover, there is an equal participation of Coal and Oil that is 25 units.
In a nutshell, coal produce highest unit of electricity in Australia for both the year while, in France, there are fluctuation in every fuel contributing in both the year.
