Based on the article the decline in population of frogs is going to be a problem for human. For example, they protect human by eating disease=carrying insects. It provide three method that can prevent frog extension. The lecturer states that all the three methods are not practical and rejects all of them.
First, the reading states that pesticides is harmful for frogs. Pesticides is a chemical that farmers use to protect crops from insects. According to reading if farmers do not use it, it helps to protect frogs, In contrast, the professor states that it is impossible for farmers to not use that because the crops will be destroyed by insects.
Second, the text claims that Fungus are the other cause of frog decline because they stick to frog's skin and prevent frogs to absorb water with their skin. On the other hand, the professor mentions that it is impossible to get each frog individually and clean it, also it is expensive to do.
Third, Based on the article one of the reason of frog decline is their habitats are threated. These animals need water for laying on their eggs, lack of wet lead them to extinct. If people save their habitat the frog will recover. On the contrary, the professor expresses that water reduction is because of global warming and people cannot prevent frog’s habitat because they need water too.
