Q.1. The diagrams below shows the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to
produce concrete for building process.
->
The first diagram demonstrates how cement is being produced step by step. while second one depicts us the production of concrete both process is man-made.
First of all limestone and clay are crushed and the resulting power is then mixed before being passed through a rotating heater. In rotating heater heat is passed through outside. once heated this mixture travels over conveyor belt and is ground through a grinder. now the cement has been produced. it is packed and marked with company's name and logo. And then transported to a building site where it can be used to make concrete.
From second picture, concrete is made up of half of gravel, quarter sand, dace water and 15% cement. All these are added together in a cylindrical drum (a kind of mechanism) and rotate till concrete is mixed up properly.
Finally, the production of cement involves 5 stages. start from mixing of limestone and clay and end on packaging of cement bag. In this process heat is needed. Making concrete is simpler than cement making process. In concrete making involves mixing four ingredients in concrete mixer.
