New Education System
The article states that schools in the Unıted States used a new system which was borrowed from European. This system base on grades by chronogical age method and provides three reasons of support. However, the Professor
explains that there are problems with the author's argument .The professor doesn't believe the benefits of the European system and refutes the author's reasons.
First, the reading states that all the students are exposed to a standart education at the same age.The professor refutes this point by stating that same standart education is not as pretty as the author believes. it should be base on differences because the student's mature can be different at the same age in terms of physically and mentality.
Second, the author argues that the student were able to repeat the school term if required. However, the professor contends that repeating the same school term would be boring for students , in consequence , İt may decrease the scores of the students.
Third, the reading avers that the evauation system such as exams is applied at the standart level throughout the school life. The lecture opposes this point by saying that the expectations of students vary from one to another .
