This graph shows the consumption of fish and three types of meat which are chicken, beef, and lamb in a European country from 1979 until 2004. Generally, the consumption of beef and lamb tend to declined, while chicken consumption tend to increased. Meanwhile, the general trend of fish consumption tend to fluctuated slightly but more stable then the others.

In 1979, beef consumption begin to decreases before recover in 1984. After that, beef consumption fluctuated towards 2004 with the general trend was downwards. Lamb consumption fluctuated with general trend was downwards from 1979 until 2004. While, chicken tend to fluctuated from 1979 until 2004, but the general trend was upwards. Fish consumption fluctuated slightly from 1979 until 2004.

The highest consumption of beef was in 1984 which reach almost 250 grams per person per week. While lamb consumption was 150 grams per person per week in 1979, and chicken consumption reach the higest consumption before 2004 which was around 250 grams per person per week. Meanwhile, fish consumption is the smallest than the others which the highest consumption was happened in 1979 that was 60 grams per person per week.

In sum, the consumption of beef and lamb fluctuated sharply between 1979 and 2004 with the general trend was downwards. Conversely, chicken consumption fluctuated sharply, but the general trend was upwards. While fish consumption only fluctuated gradually from 1979 until 2004.
