The article states that permanent station on Venus and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor explains that there are some problems with this argument and refutes each of the author's reasons.
First, the reading claims that people can’t live in Venus because there is some atmospheric pressure at Venus’s surface. Nevertheless, the professor opposes this point by saying that although the atmospheric pressure has a high amount in surface of Venus, it above the surface of Venus is equal to Earth. Also, this issue is related to physical effect which it helps people to live in Venus.
Second, the author claims that there are no reservoirs of water, which is one of the important sources for living and play a vital role in our life. On the contrary, the speaker concedes the point that there is some composition that leads to produce some necessary material including Co2, O2 and water. Therefore, people will abele to live on Venus’s surface.
Third, according to the reading, the amount of sunlight is insufficient to live on Venus. Conversely, the lecturer rejects the viewpoint since she thinks there are some clouds which aren’t so thin. Also, some solar can be produced by cloud. Furthermore, not only they can reflect sunlight, but also can generate power which all of them are vital for people that going to live in Venus.
