Do you agree of disagree with the following statement? Movies and television have more negative effects than positive effects on the way young people believe.
To my way of thinking, positive effects of movies and television exceed of negative effects of them because not only do youths learn beneficial abilities and skills, but also television programs are more entertaining and fascinating than other hobbies.
The first reason which should be stated here is that a lot of programs of television and movies have training contents. There are quite a few numbers of channels in television which have training content in a vast variety of topics, like practicing sports, learning cooking and so many other kinds of program, and they are scheduled to are shown in the specified times. Moreover, there are lots of movies which have learning contents, and we can use them in our life. For example, recently I was watching one famous movie. The primary character of it was one a young man, who was invented one printer instrument, and spent all of his money to construct that, so he even did not have any place to sleep, yet no one wanted to buy it. He endeavored a lot to improve its performance, eventually, he could prove to others that his invention was effective, and he sold it at a high price, and became famous. This movie had an important effect on me, so I decided to continue my trying, if I fail at the first.
Another point worth discussing here is that television programs and movies are some of the best entertainments. However, a lot of people believe that television has unsuitable contents, I think by choosing the appropriate programs, we could use from its advantages. For example, every week one channel shows the live enjoyable showing, and comedians come and play some funny tasks and compete to each other, and all of my family come together and we are watching that program together, so we laugh a lot. Actually, we watch one funny program, and at the same time are with our family. Therefore, by an appropriate program, we could have much more happier times.
To summarize, as I mentioned, there are several reasons, like having appropriate programs for learning and having enjoyable times by watching television and movies, that is why I think no media can use instead of these to have more beneficial effects.
