Freshmen are the people in the first step in university. The students of university usually procure the special server from faculty or university like dorm or a meal plan. Not all the collage give them because financial by government not effective. Freshmen should not require purchase a meal plan from the collage. Because, student can buy a meal from the other place except in the collage. The meal plan usually for Instructor of University.
The first thing the reason why purchase some food in the collage makes a student would not come to restroom. So, it can inflict a loss of financial collage. Maybe, to purchase a meal plan make a lazier student. But, in my opinion the purchase a meal plan from collage it does not matter for student. It is own sake and make student to easier to eat because not all students have the house near from collage.
However, some freshmen usually prepared meal with their mom in the house. They do not feel disadvantage of requirement the meal plan from collage. They do that because they are at the first step in university and they are not know kinds of food in around the university. And then, the freshmen want simply for meal in the collage. Because of, they have many tasks at the semester one and semester two so student do not have many time.
So, I think the require meal plan from collage is fair for the freshmen and the best choice for student.
