Some people think that the sense of competition in children should be encouraged. Others believe that children who are taught to cooperate rather than compete become more useful adult.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
Some people think that children should be stimulated the interest to compete with other students.. Others think that it is the best way that children collaborate with others. The issue is a controversial one, but in my opinion a closer examination reveals that both approaches have advantages and disadvantages for several reasons. I will explain my position providing examples to support my point of view.
To begin with, our lives are becoming more and more competitive and a sense of competition in children as a key factor in helping them to survive or to win in life. Furthermore, living in competitive condition, children can learn a great deal of beneficial things such as reaching the goal, winning in some competitions and so on. Additionally, by dint of this, students who study at secondary school or university invent new things and give innovative ideas. Obviously, the mentioned reasons indicate that children can obtain valuable things in competitive circumstance.
On the other hand, it is so difficult to reach the goal individual. Furthermore, children should co-operate with other adults. In these cases, they can share their knowledge with each other. By means of this way, they also can develop their skills and learn how to behave among the people. It is clear that two thought are always more useful than one. Also, in fact, nobody will live alone and children are living together, they are working and learning with their friends most of their time.
In summary, while there are arguments to be made for both sides, it is clear that it is better that children should be co-operate with other ones for living and gaining achievement easily.
