The maps depict the developments made to the road access to a city hospital in two years, 2007 and 2010.
It is evident, in general, that there were various changes in infrastructure, locations, and facilities making the hospital more accessible.
To be more precise, the hospital which was located in the center of the city was encircled by the Ring road, and its location stayed unchanged during this period. Besides, people could access the hospital from City road via Hospital road, and these two streets were kept after three years. There were some bus stations along two sides of the Hospital road and a big car park for both hospital staffs and public users on the right hand of the Hospital street.
As can be seen from the map in 2010, numerous changes had occurred in this area. The most significant contribution is the construction of two roundabouts regulating traffic in the intersection of Hospital road and City road as well as the Ring road. Between these roundabouts, on the west side, bus stops were merged into a large one, while the others, on the other hand, were removed. Strikingly, the car park was narrowed to specialize in only staff parking, and a new one in the east of the hospital was built for public usage.
