The travel modes that we will discuss in this table are: walking, bicycle, car, local bus, long distance bus, train and the others travel modes.
The table illustrate the distance of the car traveling is more than the other modes of travel in both years 1985 and 2000.
Although the taxi traveling is nearly the least popular in 1985 and 2000, we can see a 50 percent rise in 2000 from 13 miles to 24 miles.The table also reveals another sharp climb in average distance of long distance bus from 54 miles in 1985 to 124 miles in 2000, whereas the table shows 50 percent drop in average of distance of local bus from 429 miles in 1985 to 274 miles in 2000.
We can see a gradual decrease in walking and bicycle modes in 2000, however, there is slight increase in train and 'the others' modes
