Given is bar chart illustrating how Australian men and women participated in physical activity on a regular basis in the year 2010. It is categorised according to their gender and age.
As an overall trends, women were generally contributed in exercising on a regular activity over the ages group, only except the most youngest group of men.
Following the chart, women’s age groups from 25 to 64 are considerably greater than men’s group throughout ages. Especially the aged 45 to 54 group had the most highest rate over the age group by 53.3% and the group for both gender between 35 to 44 substantially had 13 percent differences.
In comparison of women’s workout throughout ages, men had the significant percentage(52.8%) from the most men’s youngest group. This rate was the only the result that men had more percentages of involving exercises than women. But the gap between the both youngest group was just five percentages. In addition to men and women’s the age groups 65 and more had nearly same rate, respectively 46.7% and 47.1%.
Moreover, the interesting part of this chart is the outcome from men’s age group 65 and more. Beside of the youngest group of men, the oldest group accounted for 46.7% of regular physical activity over other age groups.
