the effectiveness of internal combustion over the fuel-cell engine in automobiles.
The lecture and the reading both discuss whether or not Fuel-cell engines effective over internal combustion engine in automobiles. While the reading states that hydrogen-based engine works better than fuel engine, the professor refutes this, saying that although fuel-cell engines work better, this is not the solution and it is optimistic.
First of all, the reading claims that fuel-cell machine work with hydrogen and it is plentiful in nature and numerous sources. The professor argues that even though a variety of sources practically not easily obtain. Furthermore, the lecture states that it requires pure liquid hydrogen and it must require the laboratory prepare and store because it should preserve extreme cold temperature; approximately two hundred degree Celsius.
In addition, the reading makes the argument that Hydrogen machine less harm to the environment it releases fewer pollutants. The lecture counters this point by stating it is not a solution for environmental pollution. According to the professor, pure hydrogen getting from water requires a lot of chemical procedures and should burn huge coal; which releases a lot of pollution into the air.
Lastly, the reading passage posits that fuel-cell engine economically benefits over fuel engine. The lecture refutes this claim by pointing out that hydrogen engine is expensive it costs more money to design because should be made up of platinum components for chemical reactions to release energy and it is expensive material.
