three effects of overpopulation in big cities
In recent years, the migration from urban to rural areas is considered a globe trend which leads to overpopulation in big cities. this phenomenon has caused both some negative effects in some aspects. To begin with, overcrowding in large cities results in the increase in crime rate. because the number of people migrate to cities , which put much pressure on job opportunities that the amount of jobs can not satisfy their's need; as a result, may tend to commit crimes such as robbery, violence and even murder to manage the high living cost in cities. The second effect is that overpopulation results in the degradation of the environment. The rise in private vehicles and industrial zones has much bad impact on the environment. they dispose thousands of CO2 emission, CH4 every hour which can lead to the destruction of ozone layer and simultaneously, human beings can suffer from drastic result of climate change in the future. Finally, because of the cities' density, their inhabitants now are loosing green space . As more and more lands have been used for building skyscrapers for business, education and modern entertainment , cities' dwellers are loosing their playground outside, instead, they have to spend their time entertaining at home. Due to this, the old , even the young may come up with some risk of health challenge : stress, obesity and heart disease which may bring about the drop in their life expectancy. In conclusion, the government are expected to find prompt solutions to deal with this problem.
