The diagram illustrates how the drinking water is being used by collecting the rain water in Australian town. Overall, the rain water is gone through several process before being used as drinking water.The water is being filtered, stored and lastly treated with the chemicals.
At the beginning, when the rain water falls on the rooftop of the house, it gets accumulated in the gutter present at the side of the residence. After that, it is being drained underground.Wholesome of rain water gets assembled and drained. From there it passes through water filter where all the unwanted substances and impurities are eliminated.
Now, following filtration process, this water is stored and then it goes for the last stage of procedure where the water undergoes chemical treatment. At this part the pure water is prepared. At the end, town receives the filtered water form the pipes and consummate for different use in day-to-day life.
