Generally, a computer plays an important role as a primary input and output device. The computer receives directly data from 3 sources which are satellite photo, radar screen and synoptic chart, then consoling all data and making weather reports transferring to audiences through 3 signals: TV, radio and recorded announcement.
The computer does not receive directly raw data which were collected by 3 types of equipment. In particular, satellite photo is taken by satellites that orbit around the earth with the mission of collecting weather information then send to computer for further analyzing. Meanwhile, radar screen come from radar equipment which ubiquitous placed in the world. Last, drifting buoy is in charge for providing synoptic chart to the computer.
In conclusion, weather forecasts are the results of 3 steps process which contain a lot of devices and analyzing works before publishing to media.
