In the US, Italy, Czech Republic, and Germany, annual pay for doctors was three times higher than that for other workers. Likewise, this figure was approximately two times in France and Finland, and 1.5 times in Switzerland.
On the other hand, doctors in the US received a much higher pay than those in other nations. Specifically, doctors from the North American country earned $120 thousand a year, compared to $50 thousand dollars for their counterparts in Finland, who received the lowest pay among reported nations. Meanwhile, France and Switzerland's doctors enjoyed the second highest pay of about $70 dollars annually.
