The table indicates how many billions of dollar different countries namely America, European countries and others supported technology for developing countries between 2006 and 2010.
Overall, what stands out from the table is that the money given to poor nations was upward during the period in question and the figure of money sent by the US was dominant over the period.
The most striking feature is that in 2006, the American government sent the largest number of money with the figure standing at 9.7 billion dollars while those of European nations and others were significantly less with 3.3 and 2.7 billion dollars, respectively.
In 2009, whereas the number of money sent by American authority rose noticeably and doubled to 18 billion dollars, that of EU countries rose far less to 3.7 billion. In contrast, a slight decline of 0.1 billion in the amount of money was recorded in other countries.
In 2010, the figure of the US, which was still the biggest, continued to grow to 22.7 billion dollars. Likewise, there was a moderate growth to 4.0 billion in the number of European nations. Meanwhile, after a slight fall, the money of other countries experienced a remarkable climb with the figure being 3.3 billion dollars.
