The given maps show the two different views of a small town called Islip. One is the current map of the centre of the town and the other is a possible plan after development of the same town.
The town is not much developed as we can see in the first map. There are shops, housing, school, park and main road. In the current map there is a main road passing between the shops on both the sides of road. on the south side of the shops there is a whole plot for housing and just on the west of it is a park. On the south-west corner of the town, they have a school ,whereas, on the extreme north of the town, its countryside.
There are a few additions in their new plans for the town. A Dual carriageway road has been planned circulating the town and a small road access to new housing which will be set up in the north-east side. The shops on the north side of the road will be replaced with bus station, shopping centre and car park starting from the north-west side of the town in their respective order. The main road has been replaced with the road facility only for pedestrians. The housing besides the park remains the same except that it'll be new and developed.
In the end, shops on the other side of the main road, park on the south-east, housing in the extreme south and school in the south-west corner remains unchanged according to the new plan.
