Worthy goals are attained by taking justifiable means. It is right because justification keeps a check on means taken. Use of unfair means for attainment of any worthy goal is against the society as well as against the human values. So, the justification of means used is necessory.
First of all, justification of means or use of fair means give the person using them the confidence that he is doing right.if means are justifiable then only a man can check where he is going wrong. One easily checks any flaws left during the course of action.
Further , justification provides a useful tool for selection of the means. One has to made a xhoice between various means available. The person choosing a mean to attain a goal might explain why he chooses that mean instead of other means available. It also restricts a person from using unfair means that are harmful to society, because in justified means he had to exlain the things resulting from the use of a mean.
So, to attain worthy goals, means used are justified. It not only gives confidence , it also help to choose among the various means available.
