The pie chart gives information about favorite social media platforms of people who use the Internet in the world between 2011 and 2013.
Overall, the percentage of Internet uses on all social media channel increased from 2011 to 2013 except Facebook. However, Facebook still had the highest figure for users in the same period.
There was 59% of people who used Facebook in 2011. This figure was triple as high as Twitter. But it experienced a considerable decline of 21% to 38% in 2013. The proportion of Twitter users stood at 21% in 2011 and its percentage was twice that for Linkedln. Then this figure rose slightly to 25% in 2013. The period from 2011 to 2013 witnessed a moderate growth in Linkedln users from 10% to 15%.
Besides, Google+ and Pinterest had the similar figure for users, at 5% each in 2011. Over the next 2 years saw a significant rise in Google+ users to 14% in 2013. In contrast, the figure for Pinterest users only slightly grew by 3%.
