Dear Librarian,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I am have borrowed Cambridge General Ielts book 14 from the library , the due date of the book was until September 14. Unluckily, I am unable to return the book within the time limit due to an emergency job.
Elucidating in detail, I got an immediate call from my parents as they were already went a few days ago to take care of my grandmother who is in the hospital. Besides, I have to book the flight tickets to leave to Ahmedabad where my grandmother is admitted in the government hospital.. Meanwhile, I forget the due dates of the books upon checking my recipet I have noticed that i will not be present during this time to get back it to the liabrary.
Furthermore, I ask you not to levy any charge to my account with any late fees. Likewise, all this has happened suddenly that I have not get enough time to handover to any of my friend to return it on the specified time. In other words, I suggest you to coöperate with me in this hard situation as well as compassionate enough to understand my problem.
Lastly, I will assure you that I as soon as I will arrive back I will foremost deposit the book in the library.
I hope you will address these concerns as soon as possible.
