"A thousand years" analysis (introduction)
"A Thousand Year" was released in 2011 as one of the best soundtracks belonging to The Twilight Saga series. Right from the outset, when its melody slowly drifted towards me, the next thing I knew that I couldn't bottle my emotions anymore. Up till now, Christina Perri with her mellifluous voice has always evoked my memories about the eternal attachment between two passionate lovers: Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. The song has left a lasting impression on our minds in terms of heartfelt sincerity, tremendous faith, nasty scare, and considerable sacrifice. In one way or another, it has perfectly conveyed a meaningful picture through the author's multiple choice of tenses and word usage - simple but not easy.
