The pie charts compare online sales for retail sectors in various types of categories over a period of a decade in New Zealand.
It is clear that sales for books and film or music sectors increased between 2003 and 2013. By contrast, it is interesting to note that the ratio for travel and clothes sales decreased over the same period shown.
Looking at the pie charts in more detail, the sales ratio of books and film or music(entertainment) used by people stood at 19% and 21 %, accordingly in 2003. The ratio for the entertainment sector increased sharply ranging from 21% to 33% which successfully reached the highest sales in 2013. Nevertheless, the book sector experienced a slight increase and reached 22% over the surveyed year?
It could be explained by the fact that the level of travel sales accounted for 36% of the total sector which was 12% higher than the travel sector in 2003 experienced approximately the same decrease only 1 % difference and reached 29 and 16 respectively in 2013.
