The graph shows Underground Station passenger numbers in London.
The graph illustrates the numbers of passengers in London’s Underground Station during a day.
Overall, the data represented on the graph indicates that the number of passengers in underground station in London fluctuates throughout the day. Major fluctuations last 4 hours and they clearly occur twice a day. Firstly one is revealed in the morning between 6 to 10 am and the second begins at 16 pm and ends in 20 pm. In fact both follow almost the same pattern which is an upward trend until the number of passengers peaks then falls dramatically hitting a low-point. Only the first one has a higher number of passengers than the second after hitting the lower-point. Unlike these periods, the middle of the day has a slightly less change in the numbers of passengers , meaning that the difference between the highest and lowest point is lower than in first two mentioned periods. In contrast to these trends at the end of the day the numbers of people passing through the station are relatively stable.
The graph indicates that from 6 o’clock the number rises three times from the number of 100 passengers during the next two hours. When it reaches the peak it drops significantly until the end of the following two hours counting little less than 200 people. Similar trend spreads from 16 to 20 pm. Number increasingly rises to 18 pm only it hits the highest point of little under 400 passengers. After that it rapidly falls to the number of 125. From 10 am the number slightly grows to 200 in one hour and grows rapidly by the end of the second, then slowly until 14 o’clock. Finally it has a major decrease of the passengers number to 100. Conversely, in the last two hours from 20 to 22 pm the number rise slowly from 125 to little above 150 just to have a slightly decrease to the number of 145.
