and explain how you friend can receive your ticket
Dear Jason,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to ask whether you are keen on going to Taylor Swift’s concert this coming Friday.
The concert will take place in Singapore National Stadium on January 1st. The first performance will start at exactly 8pm though all audiences are required to be present by 6pm. In addition, Katy Perry is going to be one of the guest singers in this concert, and I know that you will be thrilled to watch her live.
Despite the fact that it took me a lot of effort to buy this ticket, I am unable to join at the last minute due to my son’s school concert. He has made a great deal about how important this performance is to him, and I cannot make any valid excuse to be absent. Therefore, even though I am sadly unable to join, I would be happy to know that you will enjoy it as much as I do.
I will pass this ticket to your wife when I meet her at our yoga studio. I hope she will remember to pass to you.
I believe you will have a great time at the concert.
Best Regards,
Kathy
