The diagram depicts how water can be filter and make it suitable to drink.
A quick glance at pictures is quite enough to make it clear that the water treatment procedure accomplish within ten steps initiate with intake of water from lake and end with take it through faucet.
First of all, in the water filteration process, water flows into pipes by attached pumps after passing through intake screens. Therafter, water enter into flash mix which is made with polyaluminum chloride and oxidants.This whole work comes under first three stages. In fourth and fifth steps water have to pass through flocculation and settling basin. Moving further, as soon as step four and five are finished water need to face chlorine and filter membrane before disinfection process in which chlorine, lime or (sodium hydroxide) and flouride are essential elements. This procedure is completed eight stages of water treatment process. In last two stages water need to pump and reach to faucet for daily use.
