The diagram give represents the estimated and real number of houses built (in thousands) in the United Kingdom by region in the year 2002.
Overall, the region with the highest estimated and actual figure of houses built was Southern England. On the other hand, the North Island had the lowest record from the estimated while the Scotland had the least figure for the actual number of houses. In addition, almost every country surpassed their estimated record except for Scotland.
In Northern Island and Wales the estimated values increased twofold from 2,500 to 5,000 and from 2, 900 to 6,300 respectively. The region North of England also received an increase from 9,300 to the actual value of 13, 500 making it the region with the lowest number among the others which surpassed the 10,000 mark. Another state that had an real-time figure higher than 10,000 is Central England having an actual number of 16,200, exactly double the amount of its estimated record.
Moving forward, the regions Southern England and London got the highest record for the estimated and actual. Southern England had a significant increase from 51,100 to 77,500 and London also received a twofold increase from 24,800 to 47,800.
