This figure provides information about the 5 portion per day that UK people consume fruit and veggies from 2001 to 2008. This data divided into 3 different categories from children, women and men.
As we can see from the graph, the consumption for adult in 2006 reached the highest percentage while a lot of children ate more fruits and vegetables in 2007. In this graph, the tend was increasing since 2001 to 2006 and went down after 2007.
From 2001 to 2003, the percentage for women and children were stabilize, it counted ony 12 percent of children and 17 percent of women absorbed fiber. After 2004, the trend was gradually upward and reached the maximum amount for 22 percent of children and 27 percent for women in 2006. When 2007, the graph showed different trend, when women ate lest fiber and children consumption were rising. At the end, both women and children percentage declined in 2008.
On the other hand, men trend was growing from 2001 until 2006. Bu 2006, it hit the peak with more than 30 percentage men absorbed fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately, for the next 2 years, the trend went down as similar as women trend.
