The chart below shows the percentage if adults of different age groups in the UK who used the internet everyday from 2003 to 2006.
The provided bar graph illustrates the proportion of adults of various age groups who utilized the internet daily during 2003 to 2006, in the UK.
Overall, it is vivid from the graph that the maximum proportion of people used the internet were from the 16 to 24 age group in the all given years while, the least utilized was observed by the above 65 age group.
As can be clearly seen that the main user of the internet were young adults aged between 16 to 24 years. In 2003 and 2004, they shared the same percentage, which was 80 percent. In 2005, the figure increased significantly to 100 percent, but decreased slightly to 90 percent in the next year.
It can be noticed that all age groups experienced an upward trend. In the 25 to 44 age group, there was a gradual growth in the percentage, from 50 to 80 percent, betweeen 2003 and 2006. There were similar increase for the 45 to 54 years old, rising from 60 percent in 2003 to 80 percent in 2006. As for the other two groups, although the percentages had minor fluctuation, the overall trend was upward.
