The bar chart below gives information about the number of students studying Computer Science at a UK university between 2010 and 2012.
The bar chart illustrates the number of native students and foreign students who studied in Computer Science at a British university over a 3-year period, starting in 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of British home pupils was always higher than the number of international pupils who studied in Computer Science.
Looking at the data set of men in more details, it is evident that in the beginning of the time period, the number of native students was around 39, whereas the number of foreign students was the half of them. In 2011, the number of native students showed a gradual decline to approximately 24, but the number of international students was increased slightly to 23. At the end of the time period, both of the number of native and foreign students were increased gradually in a similar pattern, and that figure were about 42 and 39 respectively.
Turning to the women data set, it is clear that the number of international students was the lowest at a figure of around 14 in 2010, and then it was increased slowly in the following years. However, in 2011, the number of native students was increased from 32 to 44, after that at the end of the period, it was increased slightly and reached at the highest point to 50.
