The graph gives data about the proportion of tourists who came to England and paid a visit to four different attractions in Brighton from 1980 to 2010
Overall, the number of tourists visited the Pavilion and Pier increased, while the festival and art gallery became less popular for tourists over an a-20-year period.
It can be seen from the line graph that in 1980, Pier was the least common among tourists, at only 10%. However, it experienced an upward trend and the percentage of tourists was doubled in 2010. In contrast, the proportion of people who visited the Art Gallery decreased significantly by approximately 10% after reaching its peak of nearly 40% in 1985.
Over the same period, the Pavilion witnessed a sharp increase in the number of visitors, from over 20% in 1980 to nearly 50% in 1995 which was the highest point of the whole graph. Throughout the remainder period, there was a noticeable decline of 20%. In 1980, the festival was the most popular attraction. However, it fell moderately from 30% to 28% at the end of the period.
