A local college want people with a job to come and talk to students about
what it is like to work. You would like to do this.
Write a letter to the principal of the college. In your letter
• Explain what you would like to talk about
• Say why students would be interested in your job
• Suggest a possible date and time for the talk
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my interest in addressing the students of your institution regarding their future job expectations by giving examples from my own experience.
Since I have joined a Multi-National Company, after pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Technology, two years back, I believe that I would be able to give proper insights to the work culture in the industry. I would also like to provide some useful information regarding the changes that could be expected when entering into a full-time working environment after completing college studies.
As a majority of the students are in the computer science department, they could relate to my experience and would take an interest in my job. Moreover, they would also benefit from some of my tips to select the optimum projects to boost their learning curves even while working.
If possible, I would like to pay a visit to the students next Friday, 7 August. I could come either in the morning at 10 or in the afternoon at 2. Please suggest me the appropriate time to schedule my visit.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Tara
