The bar chart gives information about electricity generation and utilization in ten top-ranked countries in 2014.
Overall, in most of the ten countries, electricity production was obviously higher than its consumption and United States accounted for the largest difference between these two statistics. In addition, Germany was the only country to utilize more electricity than what they produced.
During 2014, China hold the highest electricity production at 5.398 billion kWh, followed by 4.099 billion kWh in United States. While these top tier countries produced more than 4000 billion kWh, nearly 1100 billion kWh was the highest figure among other nations.
In terms of electricity usage, the leader was also considered as China and United States ranked the second at 5,322 and 3,866 billion kWh, respectively. Moreover, China consumption rate was ten times higher than that of Korea, Rep. which was at the bottom list for consuming only 449.5 billion kWh and also regarded as the lowest utilization figure among the ten nations.
