The predominant problem that, in developed countries all its inhabitants enjoy the services provided through the tax money, however, the older you get the lesser tax you have to pay. In canada, for instance, citizens over the age of 60 year, do not have to pay taxes. With the rise in the number of senior citizens, the number of tax payers will reduce causign economic problems foe the country. Another serious concern is regarding the healthcare costs that an older person will have to incur. As you grow older your body becomes weak and need medicines to sruvive. With higher life expentancy, the person will spend more on maintaing his health in the later years of his life.
On the other hand, nevertheless, there are some possibe solutions to dilute the impact of this situation. To start with, the government can increase the legal age for citizens to stop paying taxes. This will help increase the corpus that is avaible with the government to spend on developments and invest in healthcase advancement. Additionally, these countries can allow immigration of the younger individuals from around the world. This will, futhermore, increase the category of people who will are eligible to pay taxes.
