The diagram shows the life cycle of the silk worm and stages in the production of silk cloth
Taken a glance at these two figures, denote a four-phase silk worm's life cycle besides the six-step process that should be carefully followed so as to produce cloth that is made of silk.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is evident from the information provided that at first phase of silk worm's life, they are just some eggs, layed out of moth that turn into an adult moth after several month, this is the time that the cycle has completed and starts to repeat again. In addition it is obvious from the second diagram that the fundamental material for making silk cloth is the silk worm's cocoon that is ready to use at fourth stage of the cycle.
As is clearly illustrated by the cycle, first of all, within ten days the silk worm's eggs hatched into silk worm larva, which earns its growth through mulberry leaf. Following this, after four to six weeks a combination of silk thread as well as larva emerges out of a single larva that alters to a cocoon after three to eight days. Ultimately, it takes 16 days that a moth can appear out of a cocoon.
As can be seen from the second diagram, it is apparent from the data supplied that at first an appropriate cocoon should be picked up to boil in a container of water. After extracting the boiled-cocoon, the silk thread has unwinded from 300 to 900 meters length, then at last stage, silk clothes can be woven using twisted as well as dyed silk thread.
